Congregational Care
Looking after one another...

Congregational Care is a newly formed committee at Kanapaha. We are a group of volunteers whose purpose is to offer practical, emotional, and spiritual support in both joyful and trying times.

We want to acknowledge your special days and we also want to be there for you should you be experiencing a disability, a prolonged physical or mental illness, limitations brought on by the aging process, or other life challenging situations.

The Care Team is here for our Kanapaha Church family to provide services to assist the Care Partner (the care recipient) in activities of daily living. We in no way replace the pastor, or the care and spiritual comfort our pastor shares with members of the congregation, nor can we provide medical assistance of any kind.

"Bear one another’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ"

We are here to listen when you need to talk, send a note to brighten your day, visit you in the hospital, help you during a challenging time with such things as a hot meal or a trip to the grocery store... /i//meals_on_wheels_cleaner.jpg
