Kanapaha Presbyterian Church Photo Gallery >
The replica steeple shown was constructed off-site by members of Kanapaha Presbyterian Church over the course of two years. It was craned atop the historic church on this date, replacing what essentially was a makeshift steeple which, following an emergency hurricane repair, sported a "bobbed" look for fifty-two years. The new steeple has four dormers, with four sashes, each a scale replica of the windows found throughout the sanctuary. The windows swing open any time the bell is rung. A clock has been installed in the tower to toll once at the top of each day time hour.
