House Movers haul Stengal Field Church down Archer

The building which served as the Kanapaha Church, (the former University Lutheran Church) from 1961 to 1970 was lifted and transported from Stengal Field when an offer was made for the property. It was relocated just behind the Historic Kanapaha Church in August 1970. At this time, a massive renovation took place which installed new central heat and air conditioning, carpeting, painting, wiring, and a broad expansion of church programs.
